T. Zeweldu
Dr. Zeweldu is ABSPII regional coordinator for East and Central Africa. Dr. Zeweldu received his PhD in tropical plant biotechnology from Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, in 1996. He has been with the Institute of International Agriculture of Michigan State University since February 2003. From 1998 to 2003, he served the Ethiopian Agricultural Research Organization (EARO) in the capacity of National Agricultural Biotechnology Program Coordinator. He is initiator and Board Chairman of Horn Biotechnology Forum (HBF); Board member of the African Biotechnology Stakeholders Forum (ABSF); and Steering Committee Member of United Nation’s Economic Commission for Africa (UN-ECA)-Biotech Program.© 2013 Cornell University
