Regional Approach

Three Regional Centers have been established under ABSPII to facilitate technology development and transfer. The South Asia Center is managed by Sathguru Management Consultants, Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. The Southeast Asia Center is situated at the Institute of Plant Breeding, University of the Philippines, Los Baños and is managed by Desiree Hautea. The Center for East Africa is situated in Uganda, and is managed by Dr. Tilahun Zeweldu.
