M. Herman
Dr. Herman earned his B.S. in Entomology from the University of Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and his M.S. and Ph.D. (1990) in Plant Pathology from the University of Georgia, Athens, USA. He is currently Senior Scientist in the Molecular Biology Research Division of the Indonesian Center for Agricultural Biotechnology and Genetic Resources Research and Development (ICABIOGRAD), in Bogor, Indonesia. Since 1997, Dr. Herman has coordinated the Plant Group of Biosafety and Food Safety Technical Team in Indonesia. He is currently the Secretary of the National Committee on Genetic Resources, as well as the Vice Chair of the Indonesian Society of Agricultural Biotechnology. From 1996 to 2002, Dr. Herman was Country Coordinator of ABSPI. He is currently Country Coordinator for Indonesia for ABSPII.© 2013 Cornell University
